About the tools

Sales tax by country works out taxes added to prices, such as VAT and sales tax, at each country's rates. It finds the final price from a pre-tax amount, or the pre-tax price and the tax from the total on a receipt.

The ledger records income and spending by account and category and adds them up month by month. Invite family or friends to share one ledger, and upload a receipt photo to have AI read it and help fill in the entry.

The kitchen collects recipes, keeps track of what is in the fridge and when it expires, and plans the week's meals. Recipes you make public can be seen by anyone, signed in or not.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account to use the tools?

The tax calculator works straight away without an account. The ledger and the kitchen save your records and are shared with other people, so they need you to sign in.

Are the amounts I type into the calculator saved?

No. The tax calculator works only inside your browser and sends nothing to the server.

What if a tax rate is wrong?

Choose "Tax rate corrections" on the contact page and tell us the country and your source. We check it and fix it.

Can I share the ledger with someone?

Yes. Invite other members to a ledger and you can all see it and add to it.
