About
La Babiole is a set of puzzle, card and head-to-head games, everyday calculators and a community for sharing records, all running in the browser. Nothing to install; it looks the same on a phone and a computer, and it comes in 12 languages.
Games
- Daily challenge — a new board is chosen every day at 00:00 UTC. Everyone plays the same board once a day and competes for that day's ranking.
- Fair rankings — a submitted record reaches the leaderboard only after the server replays the whole game from the start and checks it. The clock starts the moment the countdown ends.
- Achievements and streaks — achievements such as a first finish or a finish without hints are recorded, along with how many days in a row you have finished.
- Apple game, Minesweeper, Sudoku, Futoshiki and Solitaire are for one player; Gomoku is for two, with a friend you invite or a random opponent.
Tools
- Sales tax by country — pick a country and a rate to work out the net price and the tax in either direction. What you type is processed only in your browser.
- Ledger and kitchen — a shared household ledger, and recipes, stock and a weekly meal plan. Signed-in members use them together with family or friends.
Community
Show off your game records, take on other people's, and talk on the notices and boards. You can post without an account, with a nickname and a password.
How it works
- Games and calculators need no installation.
- Game records are posted under a nickname and can be attached to an account later.
- Ads appear in marked areas. On phones, game pages have a fixed ad at the bottom.
- How personal information is handled is in the privacy policy; the rules of use are in the terms.

- Apple game — Drag across numbered apples to make 10. A two-minute number puzzle.
- Minesweeper — Read the numbers, avoid the mines and open every safe cell.
- Sudoku — Fill the grid with 1 to 9. Notes and hints are available.
- Futoshiki — Fill each row and column without repeats while respecting the inequalities.
- Gomoku — Play live Gomoku with friends or find a random opponent.
- Solitaire — Build four foundations in Klondike with draw-one or draw-three cards.
- Sales tax by country — Pick a country and rate to work out the net price and tax, either way round.
- Ledger — Track income and spending, and share a ledger with others. Log in to use it.
- Kitchen — Recipes, what is in the fridge, and a weekly meal plan. Log in to use it.
